CUSTOM ROM BASED ON ICS FIRMWARE V20D FOR SU870 NOW PORTED TO OPTIMUS 3D MAX
This Rom is compatible with all OPTIMUS 3D MAX [ P720 / P720h and P725 ]
This is my 2nd custom rom [ ThunderSnap v2.0 ].
Key Features :-
1. Based on V20D ICS FIRMWARE for LG OPTIMUS 3D CUBE
2. Fully Deodexed.
3. Pre Rooted.
4. No need to flash a whole firmware. It can be flashed over GINGERBREAD PARTITIONS.
5. Removed SKT CRAP.
6. Removed LG STOCK KEYBOARD.
7. Added only V6 SUPERCHARGER FOR BETTER RAM MANAGEMENT.
8. Enhanced CALL AUDIO and USSD ERROR FIXED.
9. Fixed 80 Message Characters ( Now 160 message characters )
10. Removed Secure BOOT ERROR.
11. Added 4.2 KEYBOARD and TOUCHPAL KEYBOARD
12. Integrated FACEBOOK APP.
13. Integrated Root Explorer.
14. Integrated a NEW APP named as SWIPE AND SHARE
15. New LG ICS BOOTANIMATION.
16. Some more may be I am forgetting some :D
Bugs/Issues :-
1. Camera is upside down
2. Message characters are only 160. After typing 160 characters it turns into a MMS.
3. UNABLE TO TURN OFF ( Restarts even while Selecting Power Off )
4. Unable to CHANGE RINGTONE. Always default RINGTONE rings.
5. No NFC for P720 users.
Temporary Fixes :-
1. To solve the MMS ISSUE, you can use a THIRD PARTY APP to RESOLVE this ISSUE.
2. To turn the phone off , KEEP HOLDING THE POWER KEY TILL THE SCREEN GOES BLACK . The Phone is OFF NOW :D
PRE - REQUISITES :-
1. Should be using CWM RECOVERY V5.0.2.8 or V6.0.1.2 by ME
HOW TO INSTALL :-
1. Download the THUNDERSNAP V2.0.zip.
2. Copy it to your INTERNAL SD CARD.
3. Reboot to Recovery using the desired keys
4. WIPE DATA AND FACTORY RESET.
5. WIPE CACHE
6. Go to MOUNT AND STORAGE and FORMAT SYSTEM
7. Go to ADVANCED and WIPE DALVIK CACHE
8. INSTALL ZIP.
9. Reboot
